The agreed price does not change for the job we agreed. If we open something up and find a genuine problem underneath, rotten timber behind a board, for example, we stop, show you, and price that separately before touching it. You decide. We will never add work to your bill without your say-so.

Yes, and it is work we take particularly seriously. A grab bar is only as good as what it is fixed into, so ours go into studs or proper blocking, never into drywall anchors alone, and we will tell you if a wall needs opening up to do it correctly. We also do stair and step handrails, lever handles in place of round knobs, threshold ramps and better lighting on stairs. If you are arranging this for a parent and cannot be there, we are happy to walk the job with you by phone.
Yes, unless you would rather supply them yourself, which is completely fine. Materials are itemised in your price up front, at cost plus a modest handling charge that is shown to you rather than buried. If you have already bought the parts, we will happily fit them.
You get an arrival window, not a whole day, and a message when your handyman is on the way. For the free visit you do need to be there, because pricing the job properly means walking it with you. For the work itself, plenty of people leave entry instructions and get on with their day.

Ask and we will email the certificate before your first visit rather than after something goes wrong. Worth knowing the difference, because most companies run the two words together: liability insurance covers accidental damage and injury, while a bond is a separate product covering theft, and many bonds only pay out after a criminal conviction.
